An Invitation into Unicorn Community

Our experienced writer-mentors share rigorous craft guidance and
steer generative community workshops through an anti-racist, pro-liberation lens.

What makes Camp Unicorn so magical?

Your fervent desire to write your book is the spark. We stoke and tend it with intensive support for four full days. Each morning, we set intentions that support your individualized writing plan. Group connection and co-work sessions provide fuel for your productive writing days. In Campfire Chats, we close out each day with craft conversations, laughter, and maybe some virtual s’mores to celebrate.

What can you do for your book in four days?

So much! At previous Camp Unicorns, one nonfiction author wrote 10,000 words. A memoirist broke open the core problem of a chapter that had eluded her for years and planned out her next 100 pages. Writers of fiction, poetry, and graphic novels strengthened their daily habits, propelling them and their books forward for months.
